1. C. really likes teapots, candles, flowers, and Jane Austen. But last night, she uttered the phrase "Jedi warrior."
2. Elias received his first piece of mail today (post-delivery). It was addressed to his name, "Elias Matthews." Wow, we thought. One month old and already wanted by the world. What on earth could it be? we wondered.
It was a bill. For $22, for the rental of a phototherapy blanket. J. had to tell him that this was a sign of things to come.

The robbed that smiles steals something from the thief. " ~William Shakespeare
If you don't start out the day with a smile, its not too late to start practicing for tomorrow." ~Author Unknown
Cookie Post Script
The recipe posted yesterday was posted by J., who left out some IMPORTANT FACTS.
IMPORTANT FACTS
#1 J.'s been making No-Bake Cookies for years.
#2 He makes them by memory - no recipe card. Wow.
#3 These cookies are his mother-in-law, sister-in-law, and C.'s Absolute Favorite cookie.
#4 They are yummy, yummy, yummy.
Now, isn't it amazing that all these years (before C.) he'd been practicing to perfectly make his future mother-in-law, sister-in-law and wife's favorite cookies? Providential, we'd say. :)
