The other week we traveled a
12 whole hours in the car to get to Colorado!
(Let's not do that again real soon, okay guys?)
When we finally got there, I walked and walked in my first pair of shoes...

...and avoided my car seat like nobody's business.

We hung out with these people a lot.

I learned a thing or two about playing with cars from this person.
And I got a bunch of squishes from this person.

And Mommy squished these little persons A WHOLE LOT. Sheesh!
While I was there, I got my first scraped knees.
Nana took care of me and gave me a band-aid. But actually, I took the band-aid right off.
Band-aids are for the birds.
Mommy also seemed real happy to see these people,
(who were awfully nice to me, for the record).

And on the way home, we got to see my Great-Grandma Doris and Great-Grandpa Rex,
and my Great-Aunt Susan, who lives even farther away than Colorado - in Texas.
I'm not exactly sure I made a great impression,
but they smiled at me and said I was a nice boy anyway.

I do try.
