Tears Averted

Last weekend Grandpa & Grandma decided we needed a
little companyin the chaos that is our apartment and came on over to see us.
(Actually J. just flat out told them
he'd cry if they didn't come. Truly.)



They cheered us up considerably.

Calliope cuddled right up into Grandma's arms, and decided to stay forever.
Aren't they sweet together in pink?

Gideon and Grandpa shared all sorts of jokes and silly songs

...and laughs, of course.

Babies

They're almost six-weeks-old and filling each day with a mostly
endless cycle of feedings and burpings and diaper changings.

Helps that they're completely lovable.

This picture doesn't really reflect reality, since Gideon is mellow and Calliope tends to be fussy. But we couldn't get a flattering one of Gideon, so oh well.
